Co-operation partnersThroughout the years, Akustikmiljö has obtained a wide net of contacts with many competent and important co-operation partners, such as: HRF (National Federation of Hearing-impaired) and the majority of leading acoustic consultants in Sweden, as for instance Audio Data Lab, LN Akustikmiljö, Tyréns, WSP Akustik, ÅF Ingemansson and more.
Complementary suppliersAkustikmiljö also co-operates with some of the most well-known manufacturing companies within acoustics, such as Vibratec AB, i.a. specialized within vibration, and SMT AB, specialized within diffusion.
InnovationTo constantly develop and improve our range of products is what has made us one of the leading actors within this trade. We have contributed to many of today’s product types and are in the lead as regards the development of individual sound absorbents. Quite a part of the new range of products is concentrated on design, not only to serve an acoustic purpose, but also to attract the eye purely visually, as we are of the opinion that everyone has a right to a good-looking sound.
Environment/qualityEver since we started out in 1996, the environment has played a central and important role in Akustikmiljö’s work. We work actively to reduce our impact on the environment to a minimum, on all possible levels. The purpose of our environment work is through constant improvements to become one of the most environment-adapted companies in the trade.

- The majority of the details included in our production is of local manufacture, in order to reduce transports, discharge and harmful effects on the environment.
- Akustikmiljö aims at producing and delivering acoustic products that the customers experience as the best on the market, and the products are to fulfil and surpass the customer’s demands, expectations and needs.
Customers Today, we co-operate with most of Sweden’s municipalities and county councils and our tasks are often about taking care of and improving for the hearing-impaired in these surroundings. Architects and interior decorators belong to some of our most important customers, as we can offer solutions of optional shapes and colours.
Several of the most well-reputed music studios in Sweden have chosen our absorbents for their premises, just as important radio and television studios in Scandinavia. Internationally, we have in co-operation with SMT AB delivered several studios, auditorium and cinemas rooms around the world.

To us, the sound environment issue is so important that we are proud to call ourselves sound right activists. We actually think that good sound is a human right. Nobody should be forced to dwell in noisy rooms, not even for a second. Bad acoustic properties break down the pleasure people get out of their work. Every day we meet people who are forced to remain, work and live in environments with the worst imaginable acoustic properties. Then it feels good to be able to help and to know that the fight for the right to a good sound has come a step further.
